   Bear probably changed his expression to lure them into his scheme.

   “cute” and “incredibly sweet” (which it is) are not mutually exclusive from scheming or even sinister. I mean, all cats everywhere are planning their violent coup over the humans, but they’re still adorable.

   I have to agree with Astin (there’s a first). He is cute, and sweet..and yes, that is a bear that is going to whisper about adventures, and motorcycles, and late nights in casinos.

   In other words, that’s a bear who’s going to give the new little guy a decent shot at life

   One other thing to keep in mind – words like “sinister” and “scheming” are compliments when coming from this group.

   Compliments, indeed. If the bear didn’t have a little Simon Bar Sinister in him, he would be incredibly boring.

   Oh, and if it’s gone unsaid, you have to be pretty damned talented to make something like that by hand. I have a hard time shaving without hurting other people, and if you gave my boy something like that, you’d have to fight off the hugs.

   What’s important is that you made something by hand for someone. Which is full of awesome.
